We do not know exactly why, but when we were making up Mori's art banners into F52 bags, a visual meltdown occurred. You might think FREITAG itself was Japanese, or that our MIAMI VICE shopping bag is itself the work of art … Traditional cherry blossom, Japanese characters, Indian influence – this collection has arisen in cooperation with the Mori Art Museum, using banners from the exhibitions "Chalo! India: A new era of Indian art" and of the artist Annette Messager. The rarity factor is extremely high: never before have Japanese characters embellished FREITAG bags.
These extremely rare one-offs go on sale here at the Online Shop from 13.8.2009.
